GLITTER! part 2

The remnants are removed from the mold.. Just an FYI if you don't already know.. plastic candy molds are not a good idea to use.. unless you don't mind using the mold once then go by another one about $1.99 each.. to get them out of the mold.. pop them in the freezer then play with it until they pop out.. My best move was wacking it on the counter.. thus, cracking the mold that is thin plastic to begin with LOL

Here are the results.. please note: some of them are from an ACTUAL resin mold!  Next.. sand, polish & drill for the pendants!

GLITTER!

hmmm what's inside?

Glitter, Resin & buttons.. that spells OH EM GEE pendants and earrings!  Took about 3 hours to make and will take about 24 hours to cure.. I cannot wait to take them out of the molds!  I have seen the underside and am VERY excited to see the end result if they look that good through the mold LOL..

mmmm Glitter!  Pictures were taken with  my cell.. better quality to follow once they're done curing!

Wednesday

Hello!  Sorry for being gone yesterday.. came home from work sick :(  Slept for about 18 hours too!  Feeling little better.. went to work and caught up on work and did a few extra things:)

Came home and saw the foot locker Scotty sent from Afghanistan!!  OH MY GOODNESS the most gorgeous silk scarf was in there!! Purple beautifulness the size of a twin bed!  Can't wait for the cooler weather to come out so I can wear it :)

Monday

Ahh Mondays.. Some dread them, some revel in them.. With my husband currently in Afghanistan, I see it as another day closer to him coming home!
My stepdaughter lives with us and she is spending her last week of summer vaca with her Grandmother and her mom.  So.. it's almost 6:30 and I'm already tucked in bed with my laptop and crochet.. awaiting my evening (his morning) call before I try to drift off into another eventful sleep.. Meaning, I sleep for a couple hours then I'm awake.. then try to fall asleep for a couple more hours, then awake.. this continues until about 5:30-6am when I just stay awake.. I know when he comes home I'll be able to sleep through the night again.. I miss his snoring.. my big teddy bear :)

Well.. back to the crochet.. Have a great night!
